The Every Active Member Ministry
The T.E.A.M. Ministry seeks to instill a servants heart and attitude in each member of the church body. To encourage each member to know what their spirital gifts are and to be active in the ministry of that local church. God has given these spiritual gifts to His children to be used within that local body of believers to strengthen them for His service.
"For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry,
for the edifying of the body of Christ" (Eph. 4:12)
All to often church members are simply passive in their service to the Lord with 10% doing 90% of the work within the local church. This requires the pastor(s) to assume to much of the ministry work load which leads to undue stress and ultimately burnout, family problems, etc.
The T.E.A.M. Ministry concept was created to allow each member of the Greenbrier Baptist Church to become involved in THEIR church. T.E.A.M. Ministries helps instill an active participation philosophy among church members leading them from being passive Christians to assuming active roles within the local church.

In keeping with the T.E.A.M. Ministry concept the Greenbrier Baptist Church desires to instill a loving, family realtionship through showing love and serving one another (Gal. 5:13). To help instill a loving, family atmosphere within the church. For example, during the winter months we change our hours of service. With cold weather, and early darkness upon us many of our older members cannot come out for the evening services. So, Through the philosophy of T.E.A.M. we have moved our evening service to an afternoon service. The benefits of this are as follows:
Allows many older members to attend who cannot drive at
night.
Allows an afternoon meal to be shared by the church before
the afternoon service which creates fellowship among the
brethren.
Helps in fuel costs for the individual as well as the church.
Increases the attendance for the afternoon service by 45%.
Allows those with younger children to spend family time in the
evenings and not be rushed to get back to church for an
evening service.
